Every year, the Wisconsin Association of Artists and Craftspeople (WAAC) has a month long gallery show at the UW Hospital in Madison. It’s a great venue to display artwork and to give back, as every piece sold earns the gallery a 20% commission. This money helps to keep the gallery running and allows local artists a place to show their work.
This senior center has just installed a professional hanging system for professional pieces, and I will be hanging some selected pieces for display during the month of June.
Such a fun event!! There are a variety of artists, with a diverse selection of fine work. There is great music and food. Also, an area for children to experience art with play area nearby. This would be the third time I’ve participated in this art festival, and it is absolutely my favorite!
