I have been lucky enough to visit several of our wonderful National Parks, and have taken so many photos of the beauty on display in each one. In thinking about a series of pieces to do, I immediately thought of these places. When in the midst of these parks, it is very evident how much they are treasured and cared for. It’s fasinating to learn of the history in each one, and to enjoy the uniqueness each has to offer.
All the following pieces are created using Fabriano 140 lb. cold pressed paper (unless otherwise noted) and high quality watercolor paints, designed to last for many years. Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing an original watercolor painting.

Catching a Rainbow - Yellowstone National Park
We were in Yellowstone National Park when these bison came marching right down the middle of the road. I thought of a rainbow coming down from above to highlight each animal, and this is the result. 2023. Framed and matted. 11” X 14”. $400.
Sequoia National Park
Driving down the road in the shadows of these giants was surreal! Sequoia National Park offers unique views of these massive trees, including the General Sherman, which is the world’s largest, standing 275 feet tall. Arches Cold Press 130 lb. 2023. Framed and matted. 8” X 10”. $225.
Arches National Park
Arches National Park is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. The colors were surreal as was the landscape. While visiting we took a balloon ride over the park. This was one of my most favorite things to ever do! 2023. Framed and matted. 11” X 14”. $400.
Volcano National Park
Hawaii is one of our favorite vacation spots. The last time we visited, we drove to the Volcano National Park. This was just before Kilauea erupted, and parts of the part were blocked off. 2023. Framed and matted. $250.
Yosemite National Park
We were lucky enough to get a room in the Ahwahnee Hotel, which is gorgeous! The waterfalls were full and mighty, and the hiking terrific. 2023. Framed and matted. 14” X 11”. $400.
